Studley Methodist Chapel

A meeting house for non-conformists in Studley was licensed in 1798. In 1826 a house occupied by James Godwin was certified for Wesleyan Methodist worship.

The Methodist red brick chapel was built in 1855. With the aid of Charles Pavy of Hazeland a schoolroom was added to the chapel in 1896. After the Methodist Union of 1832 the chapel became Studley Methodist Church.
